Ouch!

Zippy lets out a yelp as Skippy takes a bite... yeah, just a day in the life of our family dogs. * This was actually taken by my sister Winnie.

"Awas! Pekerja Sudah Bangkit."

"Caution! The Workers Have Risen."

I took part in the May Day procession last year, where we walked from Dataran Merdeka to KLCC. It was my first May Day experience, and I'm sure it won't be my last.

Anyone care to join me this year?

Upside-down

Singapore's Night Safari offers a super-amazing experience. We got up close and personal with a couple of bats, but weren't allowed to use the flash, so that's why it's blurry. And also 'cos I don't have a fantastic camera. However, don't you think it's a pretty cool picture?

Graveyard Snackers

My sis Winnie and I stuffing our faces with paus (dumplings) at the cemetery during Ching Ming last year.

I pumped up the colours to make the picture freaky and more interesting!

* A good explanation of Ching Ming can be found here.

Fancy some of this?

Saw this on supermarket shelves in Madrid last year. It's organic hemp beer (4.8% alcohol content), but does not contain THC (now, where's the fun in that?!).

A www.bottledbeer.co.uk reviewer said, "The taste was somewhat reminiscent of coriander."

Hmmm... strange. And no, I don't think it will ever make it here.

Cats & Dogs

It poured and poured and poured. Taken in 2006 from the bedroom window of our 12th floor apartment.

Going Coco

The coconut trees at Bon Ton Langkawi are nicely lit up at night. Hubby and I were there last year with some uni mates of mine who had come out from the UK on holiday.

Grrrrr...

This was taken in Penang as I was wandering around Little India. I don't think the lady was overly impressed with me taking her photo, so I clicked, smiled and cabut-ed.

Tom & Jerry

This is Tom, one half of a pair of Rotties owned by friends of ours in Hong Kong. The other's called Yam (geddit?). When we stayed with them a coupla years ago, we found Tom staring curiously at a mouse caught in a trap one morning. So I thought it appropriate we named the mouse Jerry!
